Rachel and her puppy - Rachel Cooper
I am an amateur historian currently studying my Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Teaching. I always wanted to become an archaeologist but since a back injury I have decided to settle with teaching history instead. My favourite time periods are the rule of the Ptolomies in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome during the Civil Wars and the Aztecs before the conquest. I also enjoy family history, which is just like archaeology without the physical effort. Writing is my other passion and I hope to use Suite101 to combine my two loves.
